The Digital (ICT = Information and Communication technologies) is responsible for 3.5-4% of GES WW and is increasing at a rate of 6% per year in spite of huge performance imporvements. This is not compatible with Paris agreement targets. Today actors are mainly working on levers to increase performance which will not “solve” the GHG problem because of the rebound effect. Is there other people here interested in that topic ? Do you know about system dynamics studies on ICT ? Hope my question is not stange as I am a new joiner.Thanks, Céline.
